Hannah Ruddle

Development Producer

Hannah joined the Garden in 2021 as a Development Producer, based out of the Garden North. She began her career at indies across Yorkshire and Glasgow working in production, including roles on BIFA and BAFTA-nominated documentaries, before finding her love of development at BBC Studios and Storyboard. 

In 2020, she was named one of Edinburgh TV Festival’s ‘Ones to Watch’. In 2022, she was a finalist in the BBC3 Northern Docs scheme, and her commitment to supporting new entrants led to being recognised as one of Edinburgh New Voice Awards’ ‘Mentors of the Year’. She’s a proud northerner and bookworm with a loud laugh you can usually hear across the office.
