Documentary editor Rupert Houseman receives Grierson Trust Trustee Award for outstanding contribution to craft

The Garden would like to extend special congratulations to editor Rupert Houseman, who has been named this year’s recipient of the Grierson Trust Trustee Award for outstanding contribution to the art and craft of documentary, the first in his field to receive the accolade.

Alongside his extensive documentary editing credits, including The Garden’s Gun No. 6 for BBC TWO, Rupert has also played a key role in developing opportunities for emerging talent, having co-founded the groundbreaking editor training scheme on 24 Hours in A&E in collaboration with The Garden, Channel 4 and Jonathan Smith in 2012.

The Grierson Awards ceremony will take place on 18 November at the Roundhouse in Camden.
