Squid Game: The Challenge Executive Producers reveal new season 2 game and cast full of loved ones

Netflix’s reality competition spinoff based on scripted Korean drama Squid Game is returning with 456 players battling it out in simple games and tests for the $4.56 million grand prize. Talking to Entertainment Weekly, the shows executive producers John Hay and Tim Harcourt reveal that they once again used Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk's series as inspiration, however they didn't totally copy the scripted drama's games.

Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 (a co-production between The Garden and Studio Lambert) premieres on Netflix on 4th November.
