Zac Beattie

Head of Documentaries

Zac joined The Garden in 2011 as an Executive Producer. He's looked after a wide range of documentary projects for the BBC and Channel 4 including the ambitious and BAFTA-nominated Keeping Britain Alive: The NHS In A Day, 24 Hours in Police Custody, Our Borough: Love & Hustle, Extremely British Muslims, Professor Green: Living In Poverty, The Midwives, The Bank: A Matter of Life and Debt, Inside Rolls Royce, The Motorway and the BAFTA-winning feature doc', Gun No. 6, which had a theatrical release before its launch on BBC TWO.

Before joining The Garden, Zac worked with a variety of indies and at the BBC, producing and directing documentary films, including the BAFTA-winning Make Me Normal (C4), the form-bending, Rich Kid Poor Kid (C4) and the ground-breaking animated documentary The Trouble With Love and Sex (BBC TWO).
