Melissa Hameed

Director of Production and Operations

With over 23 years' experience in television production, Melissa joined The Garden in 2017 as Line Producer on the BAFTA-winning fixed-rig series 24 Hours in A&E. She was promoted to Production Executive and then Head of Production in 2018, overseeing The Garden's expanding factual slate. Now Director of Production and Operations, Melissa leads the company's production and operational strategy, working closely with the Board to support the business's continued growth.

Alongside overseeing the successful delivery of The Garden's productions, she is responsible for developing the systems, processes and operational infrastructure that enable the company to deliver an increasingly ambitious and diverse slate.  Before joining The Garden, Melissa held production management roles at a number of leading independent production companies including Minnow Films, Nerd, Silver River, Endemol, Outline and Blink, working across a broad range of factual and entertainment programming.
